What this means in practice
A faster course is not automatically better, and a longer course is not automatically more recognised. What matters is whether the programme contains enough relevant learning and assessment for your purpose.
Self-paced programmes may allow flexibility within a maximum completion period. If you are comparing courses, ask both how many learning hours are expected and how long learners normally take to finish.
