Some employers value online professional development when the curriculum, assessment and provider are clear. Other roles require a specific regulated degree, teacher licence, practicum or national registration that cannot be replaced by a short professional course.
Before enrolling, separate three questions: Is the provider verifiable? What exact certificate will be issued? Will the organisation that matters to you accept that qualification for your intended purpose?
